|EasternOnline is the University's distance learning environment. Class is in session wherever, whenever you have access to the Internet. Students and faculty do not need to log in at the same time. The sharing of knowledge with regular interaction through the WebCT Vista learning platform is facilitated by the use of chat rooms, discussions, e-mail and other tools. The achievement of course objectives is accomplished online, through the use of a computer running a Web browser, preferably Internet Explorer version 5.5 or higher, a reliable and high speed connection to the Internet, and an e-mail account.
Any current Eastern student as well as non-matriculated students (students who have not applied for or have not been formally granted admission to Eastern) may take credit-bearing courses at the undergraduate level. As a non-matriculated student, you may take courses for professional or personal development.
